About

First and foremost, I am a Christian, saved by the Lord Jesus Christ.  I love to talk about Him and share His truth with everyone who will listen.

I served as lead pastor of two local churches for a total of over 30 years, the majority of the time at The Church At Lake Forest in Walls, Mississippi.  Besides preaching, teaching and enjoying the company of my fellow church members, my passion is missions in South America.

My wife, Debbie, has been putting up with me for over 50 years.  She has beautiful white hair and deep brown eyes.  The eyes are a gift from God, the hair. . .probably my fault.  My son, Chris, is now the lead pastor at Lake Forest.  I have a beautiful daughter-in-law and four precious grandchildren.

God has been good to me.  I love life and look forward to many more years of service to God, writing, preaching, and traveling to far away places to share the Gospel.
